Now I have something to "Blog" about Ha!

Hey Guys!

Welcome to my first blog. I've been meaning to create a blog for quite sometime now, so here it is! WOW! Where do I start ? Okay, so I've been having this burning fire deep down within me since I was a kid of becoming a professional model and actress. Growing up the temperature of this burning fire continued to grow. I believed in myself, and I never settled with where I was. So here I am at age twenty eight with that fire still "Lit" chasing my childhood dream.

I started out doing fashion shows in school, in church, and locally in the (DMV) area. I loved being in front of the camera so I stayed doing photo shoots. Learning more and more about the modeling industry I begin searching online and submitting my photos to different agencies. Now, here I am playing the waiting game, hoping and praying someone wants to call me in for an interview/audition. "Yayyy" not only did I get one call back, but two to three agencies call me for an interview. Let's fast forward and now I'm doing some "extra work" no principal roles.  However, getting booked as an extra felt good to me. Just knowing that I would be "on set" with casting directors, other models and actors was a big deal to me. I didn't even care if I was getting paid or not because I loved being "on set". For those that aren't familiar with this industry, when you're "on set" it's for HOURS!! Not your average 9 to 5 job.

So remember the part where I said "I didn't care if I were being paid or not",  I beg the differ. NO! NO! NO! I won't be working 10 + hours for free or should I say just to be "on set". Here's the BIG news, I BOOKED MY VERY FIRST PRINCIPAL SPEAKING ROLE for Rapper "Young Thug" album release video. Whoop Whoop! This didn't just happen either. It was because of my "FAITH" and God's favor. The feeling after receiving the call back was breathtaking. I was filled with zest, knowing that I booked a principal role, get a chance to be in one of the hottest new rappers videos, and playing the role of the mother of his child. I had so much fun working on set with him and all of the other actors. By the way, his real name is Jeffery.

Since I've been on this journey this have got to be one of the most exciting experiences. This is only the beginning. I serve a God that no man can compare or defeat. He has placed a calling over my life and I will live up to it. I pray that God continue to bless me, and all his children to live in their purpose. Remember, this is only the beginning we still haven't seen our best days yet! (Deuteronomy 5:33)

Be blessed,
TonnechiaC
